Look out world - here comes Madison "Maddie" Miller!
Maddie's career path toward being a professional actress and singer began at the age of six when she joined the regional touring musical group "Creative Kids." She fell in love instantly with music and theater.
Growing up in Southern California and attending the prestigious Orange County School of Arts (OCSA), Madison has been heavily involved with regional musical theater groups, most notably: Children’s Theater Experience of Southern California; Southern California Theater Experience; and The Ambassadors. During this time Madison has been selected to play lead roles in productions such as: High School Musical, Annie, School of Rock, Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof, The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, Mama Mia, Grease, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical and Peter Pan.
Maddie has studied music at the Classical Voice Conservatory since the age if 14 and has been chosen as lead soloist for several productions. Last summer Maddie toured England with the conservatory.
Recently, Madison has been perfecting her vocals with Thomas Barsoe, owner and founder of OC Hit Factory and has recorded covers of Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri, Joan Osborne's One Of Us, Landslide as done by Fleetwood Mac and Adele's version of I Can't Make You Love Me. Earlier this month, Maddie recorded her first single entitled St. Teresa, produced by Barsoe at OC Hit Factory.
Madison has also been collaborating and performing locally with songwriter Billy Fedak. Maddie Miller is excited to announce her debut album which is scheduled to drop very soon. St. Teresa is just a sample if what's to come.
Look for Maddie at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX March 12 - 15, 2013 as she is performing at the 311 Club, 311 E. Sixth Street each of those days.
